To one who waits, all things reveal themselves, so long as you have the courage not to deny, in the darkness, what you have seen in the light. -Coventry Patmore Drawing - 2.5 x 3.5 inches, pen
Whoa. That is an awesome quote. I often deny in the darkness what I've seen in the light, but I never thought of it as having to do with courage. It's more like I just forget. But I suspect that next time I forget I'll remember this quote. At least I hope.
jenny stevning that's one powerful quote on top of a necklace of words with a super fine image from your hand. i messed with the quote in my mind and flipped it over and of course it carries some weight that way too! steven
I'm with steven (as usual). I really like this quote with it's opposite pair:
To one who waits all things reveal themselves as long as you have the courage not to deny in the darkness what you have seen in the light, and you have, too, the courage not to deny in the light what you have found in the darkness.

Pollinatirx, I am glad you like the quote! I have been holding on to that one for years and I still often forget, but not as much thankfully.
ReplyDeleteAnd, Steven, I love the way you switched it! 'Tis just as valuable that way!!!
Stacey, I am glad you are here, too. Thank you. Love!

It's so true.
Thank you, Dan! I do so like the rewrite. And welcome aboard! I am honored.
