jenny stevning - rain! lucky lucky you! it's minus nineteen here right now. very sunny. the snow and ice are shades of pale blue and vanilla yellow. the sound, the smell, the feel of rain - well they are well inside the essence of what i love. i love this poem by hafiz. have a peaceful evening. steven

ReplyDeleteHi, Steven! Sadly, the rain stopped about an hour later. I thought it was going to last. But, it was VERY beautiful after the clouds cleared out. Very chilly - 58 degrees. I am sure that makes you laugh, but for Southern California that is cold!

ReplyDeleteThis one especially touches me. Along with Dan's most recent post, this connects with where I am right now. Becoming very aware of and learning to let go of "You owe me" or any other judgment that bars me from fully loving and celebrating.
Thank you for this - I will continue to treasure it and ponder it.
