To The End of Love

Dance me to the wedding now
dance me on and on
Dance me very tenderly and
dance me very long
We're both of us beneath our love
we're both of us above
Dance me to the end of love

-Leonard Cohen

Video: Dance Me To The End of Love

No one can tell me if my love lands on the Earth or in the Heavens.

  1. Someone might whisper that your love can be omnipresent and on Earth and in the Heavens simultaneously.

  2. eveningtime jenny stevning . . . love. i've come to know love as the quality that binds all and everything together. love - romantic, physical, emotional - it's a metaphor, an entry point for the love that is above and below and inside and outside and all around. i thought this, felt this, then knew this. sweet evening. steven

  3. Dan - I think you just did. And I love that it was whispered. Thank you!
Steven - Thank you! I have had a crash course in Love in the past year. I have learned a lot and I have failed miserably. Love can make me feel so beautiful, and so terribly ugly, too. But those moments that go Beyond...all...well, it's those moments...

  4. I love this collage. And those lines.

I don't think love ever lands, it just keeps moving, or it stops being love.

  5. Thank you, Pollinatrix! I adore that statement. It touches something very tender in my heart. Then it makes me chuckle because I think of when I was little and we would play Keep the Balloon in the Air - everyone is running frantic and laughing hysterically trying not to let the balloon land. Rather fitting analogy, I feel.
