Changes

Yesterday was closing day for my mom's business.
After 15 years, that chapter is closed.
For the past 4 years, I have worked for my mom.
Honestly, I don't know how I feel.

But for today, I find this to be true.
Kindness.
Use it. Share it.
Don't save it. Don't spoon feed it.
Show the world your authentic kindness.

"Wherever there is a human being,

there is an opportunity for a kindness."

-Seneca

Photo - Through all the changes of the past few weeks these garlands have kept me coloring and playing. They bring me great joy. I can't seem to get enough of them.

  1. What sort of business was your mom in? I would guess you might feel a bit sad at the closing?

  2. My mom has been running a yoga studio. I do feel sadness but I am also excited (for once) for new chapters for us both.

  3. I feel so honored to have one of your garlands hanging in my art room. It makes me smile. It makes me grateful for creation and for friends. Thank you for your wonderful blog.

  4. What an exciting time, Jenny. There is a whole world of possibilities out there for you (and your Mom) now.

Your words on kindness are lovely - I think I will write them on a post-it note and stick it on the fridge - and your garlands are gorgeous.
