I grew up watching Sesame Street in the early and mid 70's. This song use to make my heart break! I would want to cry it hurt so much. But I would always watch it if it came on.
why did you want to cry? I'm guessing because there's such a disconnect between George and Grover? It thought it was a cute was to get across the hard and soft sounds of G.
I wanted to cry because of how tender and sweet it is - just the two of them on the hill top in the soft lighting. As an adult I think it is quite genius how they presented the two G sounds, but even watching it now makes my heart wrench! :)
