I hadn't seen this kind of design (upper background) in your artwork before, it's a very interesting combination of forms , it gives the whole piece a sense of activity and dynamic change whirlwinding around the femenine figure; I really like the little bird pulling on the braid as if incentivating the girl to move and do something other than be passive; so right for the phrase "life was meant to be lived". Yes, one must never turn his/her back on life. It's nonsense. I recently experienced the loss of a truly gorgeous, perfectly healthy, angel like 7 month old niece. When you face the death of someone dear at such a young age, it delivers a blow so strong that you're reminded what really is important and how life is truly to be appreciated. Life is the most precious gift.
