Life was meant to be lived, and curiosity must be kept alive.

One must never, for whatever reason, turn his back on life.

-Eleanor Roosevelt

A simple prayer: YES!

  1. I hadn't seen this kind of design (upper background) in your artwork before, it's a very interesting combination of forms , it gives the whole piece a sense of activity and dynamic change whirlwinding around the femenine figure; I really like the little bird pulling on the braid as if incentivating the girl to move and do something other than be passive; so right for the phrase "life was meant to be lived". Yes, one must never turn his/her back on life. It's nonsense.
I recently experienced the loss of a truly gorgeous, perfectly healthy, angel like 7 month old niece. When you face the death of someone dear at such a young age, it delivers a blow so strong that you're reminded what really is important and how life is truly to be appreciated. Life is the most precious gift.

  2. This is the third Eleanor quote I have seen today. She had lots of wisdom. Thank you for sharing. :)
