Color

Color is the fruit of life.

- Guillaume Apollinaire

In the past year and a half, my artwork has been tiny - 2.5 x 3.5 inches.
I love the size because I can work quickly.
Lately I began craving a larger size. It is still small by most standards but this 8 x 11 inch piece was fun to work on.

  2. Lovely color and lines. I'm especially fond of the bird and leaf.

  3. It is lovely, Jenny. I am happy to see you blooming and "branching out." You are a wonderful artist and your work is full of positive energy and vibrant color, yet it remains soft and inviting. I think it is the themes that make it so.

  5. Great job. I am also trying to branch out into larger sizes. Not always easy, but am trying to think outside of my tiny, detail-oriented box that I get in sometimes.

  6. Hi Jenny,

Love this piece!!! I also love working small but I also love working big. My house is like a hobbit's house small and so working on a large scale is tough due to this. I must say it's liberating to paint on a huge canvas. I would love to someday when I get a bigger studio detached from my home to paint drink wine and listen to music with no distractions. I love love to make a colorful mess around me. Thanks for stopping by hon!
